Intelligent Hydrogen Production and Supply Chain Management

The Cloud for Hydrogen Production and Supply Management software solution on the SAP Business Technology Platform enables the seamless integration of processes for the production and marketing of green hydrogen and provides a scalable solution that can be integrated with SAP Cloud for Energy.

A key feature is Hydrogen Asset Management, which provides suppliers with a centralized overview of various production plants, storage facilities, and grid connection points. This overview allows suppliers to manage and maintain their entire infrastructure more efficiently.

Hydrogen Commodity Management oversees hydrogen volumes across various assets, allowing suppliers to track their inventories with precision. Accurate inventory management helps avoid shortages or surpluses, ensuring optimal resource utilization while minimizing potential losses.

Hydrogen Sales Management facilitates the marketing of produced hydrogen to registered market partners or trading platforms, enabling suppliers to actively offer their products and process sales.

The software also includes the Hydrogen Control Center, which provides analytical insights into energy consumption relative to production volumes and CO₂ footprint tracking.

This allows suppliers to analyze key performance indicators and assess the environmental impact of their production.

Cloud for H2 Production and Supply Management is part of the SAP Industry Cloud Portfolio and available via the SAP Store. It also integrates with SAP Cloud for Energy to store various energy time series from energy producers, electrolyzers, and storage facilities.
