IT-Administrator (m/w/d) - hybrid

In this role, you will ensure a stable and secure system environment across both Microsoft and Linux platforms. You will manage and operate core IT services such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Cloud, Intune (Windows and Mac), as well as firewall and VPN gateways. In addition, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining VMware clusters connected to Fiber Channel systems and the associated backup infrastructure, including the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware ESXi systems, Fiber Channel systems, and Veeam environments.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and further developing the system and network landscape while consistently enforcing high IT security standards. You will actively contribute to the planning, preparation, and execution of IT projects and provide user and application support at the 1st and 2nd level. Furthermore, you will support information security and cyber security initiatives by documenting and implementing relevant measures.

Another key aspect of your role will be the development and continuous improvement of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on established standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz. You will also be responsible for documenting and handling incidents related to data protection and information security, thereby playing an important role in strengthening and continuously improving the company’s overall IT security architecture.

You hold a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and bring several years of experience as a system administrator in medium-sized or large companies. In addition, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in the areas of security and IT infrastructure.

Your expertise includes M365 (including Entra ID, Intune for Android, Apple, and Microsoft devices, as well as SharePoint) and solid networking knowledge in TCP/IP, IPv6, and IPSec VPN. You also have in-depth experience with Microsoft and Linux system landscapes, are proficient in working with VMware, Fiber Channel, Veeam, and hybrid cloud environments, and bring strong expertise in information security and cyber security.

Basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage. In addition, you possess fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
